Floydada High school began a 1 to 1 technology immersion in the fall of 2005.  There were no grants to help with the cost of this project.  The local board of education voted to extend the Junior High project to the high school with the use of local funding.

The High school project began much the same as the Junior High with the upgrading of infrastructure and installation of a wireless access throughout the campus, and extensive training of teachers and staff on implementation of this project.
